I am working on labels to try to avoid planning for school. I am so mad about having to plan in the first place. Grrr.I decided to use the plans posted at Life. On a Budget because they seemed in depth enough to not bore them, but not so in depth that they hate it (a big problem I have...)
I downloaded everything and got ready. She stopped posting at the end of July, and honestly I didn't notice until September (vacation, house guests, going out of town again, family funeral...) So when I finally did notice, I figured "Oh well! She has to start posting again soon, right?" Wrong.
I have tried to email her 4-5 times, and even had someone who has talked to her before email, and we haven't heard a thing.
The woman who has talked to her posted in the comments section:
I have spoken to Jenni on the phone and she and her family are fine. Jenni has hurt her back and has not been able to be at the computer, but she is getting much better and will be back very soon. Prayers are in order, everyone!
I truly hope that she is ok, but darn it. It left me in a position I tried my hardest to avoid being in this year. I don't want to change curriculum mid year, but I don't want to spend the rest of my weekends planning. I spent the first 5 or so years of our homeschooling journey doing that and don't want to go back.
So, I can either take a few days and plan each subject through the end of the year, or I can spend a bit of time each weekend doing it.
